Five years of MAx – Metabolic Architecture Workshop!

Over the past five years, MAx has grown through the support and contribution of collaborators, students, institutions, clients, critics, and friends who have believed in a design approach that places metabolism, environment, and society at the core of architectural thinking. Each project and workshop has added a new layer to a shared journey shaped by dialogue, experimentation, and collective curiosity.

Looking ahead, MAx remains optimistic and committed. The challenges facing our cities, landscapes, and climates call for an architecture that is adaptive, responsible, and imaginative — one that engages with change rather than resisting it.

MAx will continue to be a space for research, learning, and practice, where architecture responds to complexity and helps shape new perspectives for the future.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of these first five years. The work continues — and the most interesting questions are still ahead.
